Policies and Answers
How do I make a reservation?
Call (248) 644-7717 or send the request form on any page. We confirm every reservation personally, by phone or e-mail.
When can I drop off and pick up?
During office hours, listed at the bottom of this page. We are closed on major holidays.
Can I see the kennel first?
Yes. We are happy to give you a tour and show you where your pet will stay and where the dogs play outside.
Is there a free trial?
If your dog has never boarded with us, leave them for a trial daycare at no cost. It helps them get comfortable with Jagersbo before a full stay.
Do I need a reservation for daycare?
For the first visit, please call so we can tell you more. After that, just walk in.
Is food included?
Yes, kennel food is included. If your pet does not do well with a change in diet, bring their own food; there is a small daily charge for feeding it.
Can you give medications?
We are happy to give pill medication: please write down the medicine and dose and bring what your pet takes it with. We cannot give injections, including insulin. Extremely high-maintenance or sick animals should board with their veterinarian.
What should I bring?
As little as possible. Label everything with your last name and your pet’s name. Most dogs pay little attention to toys in the kennel, and we cannot guarantee that items come home.
Is someone there overnight?
Yes. The owners live on site, so someone is here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How do I pay?
Payment is due in full at pick-up. Please call to ask which payment methods we accept.
